1976 – born in the town of Lom, Bulgaria
1989 – 1994 – graduated from the Foreign Languages and Art Sciences High School of Lom
1994 – 1999 – graduated from the University of Veliko Turnovo “St. Kiril and Methodii”, specialty “Pedagogy of Arts” in the class of “Painting” of Prof. N. Ruschukliev
1999 – MA in “Pedagogy of Arts”
2003 – post-graduate student in “Pedagogy of Arts”, Sofia University “St. Kliment Ohridski”
Svetlin Sofroniev works in the field of fine arts (easel and monumental paintings), drawing, illustration and art photography.
He has a special interest in watercolor, works on paper and Plein Air painting.
Signature member of AWS (American Watercolor Society), NWS (National Watercolor Society) and LPAPA (Laguna Plein Air Painters Association)
